Learn about Scrapbooking Made Easy and how planning and oraganization helps.
Scrapbook Planning in advance and being organized are one of the same and can save you a lot of time. If you come up with a plan and know what you need to do in advance you will be able to better focus, and ultimately get your project done faster. Planning can also help to boost your confidence level and at the same time eliminate the number of decisions you will be faced with, ie. what colors to work with, what pattern papers you should choose, what embellishments fit your design, what your title should be, etc. That is a lot of decisions!
By planning in advance you can work in smaller bite-size chunks so that you will be more confident in your choices and not be stressed.
Some scrapbooking make easy ideas to help you.
- Print out all of your photos first. If you are digital you will have them stored somewhere on your computer or on a memory stick. Digital pictures give you much more flexibility and choice with our pictures than we have in the past so we often forget to print them out. By printing them out in advance you won't have to worry about not having them on hand when you get the scrapbook bug.
- Use scrapbooking sketches to plan your pages. They provide you with an easy to follow design that will serve as a map to create beautiful pages. They show exactly where you need to place your photos as well as how to arrange the other elements for the best effect. You won’t have to waste time not knowing what to do next as all the hard work is done for you.
Sketch Layouts
work well when you are short on time. They will help you design your pages with ease. Take your sketches and put them in plastic protectors and you will be ready for the next time you scrap.
