Once every year that time comes around again. Your birthday. Scrapbooking the special ones is well worth doing, even if you don't create pages for all of them. If you have reached that time in your life when you try your hardest to forget that a birthday means you are getting older, then why not scrap your children's or grandchildren's parties instead?

It may be that you put all your children's birthday scrapbooking pages in one album, or you might prefer to mix them in with other pages. Whichever way you do it there are "Special" birthdays that are worth documenting in pictures and journaling.
So if the event is up and coming remember to get the camera clicking - make sure there are some close-ups of the birthday girl or boy, some shots of the guests, don't forget the cake and other food on offer, balloons (maybe with the age prominently displayed), the unwrapping of gifts and any funny or memorable moments that occur.

If you already possess a great birthday scrapbooking paper of a certain color, then you could even ensure that your child is dressed in suitably colored clothes.
Of course if the event is in the past, then you will have to use existing pictures. But by adding appropriate embellishments, such as candles, cakes, party hats, balloons and gifts you can still create pages to add to your album. The products below are offered by Amazon.
Of course you don't have to rely on purchased items, you could also include any saved items such as gift wrapping or bows from presents, and pictures cut from the birthday cards. You could also use rubber stamping techniques or paper piecing to decorate the pages.
Did you know that you can create your own die-cut cupcake wrappers? You could make an extra one and use it flat on your page. The cricut cupcake wrapper cartridge even includes toppers to match, and those could certainly be used on your page!
