Scrapbooking Page Layouts

I will be sharing some scrapbooking page layouts in this article.

A sketch is really just an outline and a guide to help you plan your pages quickly and easily. You will still need to choose all of your scrapbook elements that will reflect your own personal style. Once you get comfortable in using sketches you can add alot more flair by just making a few changes to suit your themes.

You will learn some very quick layouts that have been created from '500 Sketches'.

This page was created from sketch #296

This layout was actually really quick to complete. Once I had chosen my colours, I just followed the sketch. It was so easy. The only real change I made was to remove the circles to make way for my title and journaling.

This page was created from sketch #479.

If you compare my design to the sketch I used, you can see that I have made a few changes. Firstly, I have replaced the row of circular photos featured along the bottom of the sketch with heart and circle shaped stickers from Doodlebug Designs. Also, instead of using a straight bar to underline my title, I have used a flourish rub-on from Basic Grey to give my page a more sophisticated and romantic feel.

This page was created from sketch #259.

On this page I followed the design of the sketch very closely. It’s quite a quick and simple, yet very effective design. The only real change I have made is that I have replaced the circle on the sketch with a flower on my page. Do you like it? I’d love to know what you think.
